University of Santiago Cape Verde (US)

The University of Santiago is a private Cape Verdean university, with a campus and one satellite campus. US is one of the ten existing universities in Cape Verde and was established in 2008. The university is open to international students.

The University of Santiago offers nineteen undergraduate degrees, and seven graduate (master's degrees) degrees in the fields of Educational Sciences, Philosophy and Letters; Health Sciences, Environment and Technology; Economic Sciences and Businesses; Juridical and Social Sciences. In addition, it offers vocational degrees, such as multimedia development, electro-mechanics studies and solar power system, and rural tourism and ecology. The creation of a Research and Development Institute is to encourage the development of quality on scientific research at an institutional level.
